Dive N’ Stuff was founded in 1993 by divers for divers. Our goals are simple; smaller dive groups, longer bottom times and safe, easy, flexible diving, all of which enable us to provide more personal attention to our divers and build great friendships.
From a beach pick-up by boat outside your hotel or condo, to our friendly and knowledgeable staff setting up your dive equipment; we ensure that our guests keep coming back year after year.
All our dives are guided by our professional instructors, but you are free to dive with a buddy at your own pace if you prefer. Choosing to dive with us will make your dive vacation on Grand Cayman a very enjoyable and memorable experience.
From the inception of exotic warm water dive travel, Grand Cayman has stood as the pinnacle of the Caribbean. Let DNS Diving be your guide as you discover Grand Cayman’s crystal clear waters, lush coral reefs, incredible wall dives and entertaining sea life.

After growing up in Kansas I wanted to get out on the water. So I packed up my bags and moved to Florida where I started my Dive training. After several years of island hopping in the Caribbean I landed in Grand Cayman in 2001. I knew from my first dive that I wanted to stay here for a while. After all these years diving in Grand Cayman I don’t regret that decision. The diving is out of this world all year round and the friends I have met have made Grand Cayman and DNS my home.
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. My first career was as a geologist for a major oil company, I then owned and operated a bicycle and ski shop for ten years. I started diving in 1980 and enjoyed my first few hundred dives on the West Coast of Canada. My wife, Susan, is a Dive Master and dives every weekend. We are fortunate to have been diving around the world and have made Cayman our home since 2002. I truly love being a PADI dive instructor and boat captain at DNS and look forward to giving our guests a memorable dive experience.
I have been a certified diver since I was 12 years old. After growing up in Chicago and graduating from college in Ohio, I fled the cold and moved down to Cayman to get my PADI Instructor and work in the island’s clear warm waters. I have moved around quite a bit landing in Thailand as a dive instructor and photographer, and Venice Beach as a photographer, but despite my travels there is something about Cayman that keeps me coming back. I currently work for myself as a photographer for family portraits, weddings as well as underwater photo and video, and I also work for DNS as a PADI Instructor.
As the newest addition to the DNS fleet, this 36-foot Seahawk model features a comfortable, covered cabin and a spacious dive deck that has made it an instant fan favorite. Weather you are looking to keep dry on one of Cayman’s rare, rainy mornings or take it out for a full day’s diving, this boat is the “bottom line” in diving comfort.
Our 38-foot flattop boat is the epitome of the relaxed Cayman diving lifestyle. From the convenience of a beach pickup/drop-off in front of your hotel or condo, to lounging out on the ample bench space, and even a photo-table for the most dedicated shutterbugs, this is the boat to cruise Cayman’s famous west walls and reefs.
This is our smaller boat, 28 feet that does so well on the North. She is smaller and faster which makes her work out great for smaller groups that want to adventure out further to some of the “off the beaten path” dives sites. She also works well for Stingray City trips or charters to Rum point and Starfish Point.
